Gilbert Foods are a family owned business, operating in a purpose-built, EC approved, A Graded BRC meat-manufacturing plant in Heysham, Lancashire, England. The Company specialises in the manufacture of pasteurised meat products. Designed specifically for reheating via microwave, oven, boil-in-the-bag, grill or rotisserie, the products offer the caterer the safest and most efficient manner in which to serve meat.
Our products undertake a paseurisation process during manufacture which removes the risk of the product being undercooked and therefore reduces any risk associated with food safety.Introducing the pasteurisation process to the manufacture of our products also ensures an enhancement in flavour, texture and tenderness to the meat, the resulting product being consistent in quality, which the caterer can safely serve to their customers.
